Business Challenge And Scope
- TDS accounting as per the payment advise is challenging in terms of accuracy and consistency
- Involve complex working in excel to convert the 26AS download into readable format.
- Approximately 30000 entries are received per quarter and processed by 2 FTE.
Solution
- We developed bots using Automation Anywhere enterprise.
- The bot converts raw 26AS download into unloadable and readable excel format .
- Using smart recorders recorded the process of creation of accounting entries in SAP.
- Based on the approvals BOT will create accounting entries and sends back the communication to relevant user for checking.
Key Accomplishments
- Deployed bot in one month for end to end involving 3 different processes with maker and checker
- Reduction in working capital to the tune of 25 crore INR.
- Reduction in two FTEs
- The major accomplishment is fine tuning the SAP process to reduce the accounting time taken by BOT from 5 man days to 30 minutes
